Fumigation is one of the most reliable and cost-effective solutions for protecting grain and bulk cargo from insect infestation.

VENOM FUM delivers professional fumigation services in bulk and in containers for grain, pulses, seeds, meals and feedstuff. Using aluminium phosphide, we eliminate all life stages of stored-product pests, ensuring effective control with no harmful residues and full compliance with international phytosanitary standards.

Our certified specialists work safely and in accordance with industry regulations. Grain fumigation is available for silos, warehouses, containers and bulk cargo, serving farmers, traders, shippers, exporters, and importers.

Bulk fumigation in vessel holds is a method of treating loose grain directly inside a ship’s cargo holds to eliminate all stages of stored-product pests. The fumigant is applied into the grain mass using short probes to ensure even gas distribution at different depths.

For enhanced sealing and gas retention, the cargo is often covered with fumisleeves or gas-tight sheets, creating a hermetic environment. In some cases, a gas recirculation system is used to continuously move the fumigant through the grain, ensuring uniform concentration and maximum effectiveness throughout the entire hold.

Grain fumigation in containers is a pest control method used to protect grain and grain products during storage and transport by treating them inside sealed shipping containers. The fumigant is introduced to eliminate insects at all life stages.

Fumigation can be carried out using several methods, including tablet or gas application, probing, fumisleeve or gas-tight sealing, and, when required, gas recirculation. Grain can be treated in bulk directly inside containers as well as in bags or big bags, ensuring effective protection and compliance with export requirements.
